For Light Safari, a special route has been laid out in part of the Safari Park. The route is about 1.8 kilometres.

🍴 Food and drink

Your journey starts at the Winter Square where you can enjoy delicious mulled wine or hot chocolate. You can also go here for winter favorites such as a (vegetarian) Unox sandwich, sandwich ball, delicious soups, fries or hot waffles.

Later, stroll past the cozy Africa Village. Walk into restaurant Mugunda and enjoy responsible, freshly prepared and veggie dishes and delicious drinks. You can also go outside for hot drinks, fries or soup, among other things. Or warm your hands by the campfire here and roast marshmallows with the rangers!

✨Fun activities for children

Light Safari Beekse Bergen is a fun activity for children. The route is about 1.8 kilometers where more than 5000 light objects can be admired! At the winter square, children can get painted with glow in the dark face paint or have LED hair wraps put on to experience the route extra radiant. Children can also meet mascot Djambo the elephant here! In addition, you will receive your own passport that will take you on a magical journey around the world. With the educational scavenger hunt found in your passport, you will discover all about the worlds and animals that belong here.

🚘 Parking

Light Safari takes place at Safaripark Beekse Bergen. Parking is therefore available in the parking lots of the Safaripark. There are plenty of parking spaces available, including two parking spaces with an electric charging station. In case of heavy traffic there may be diverted to Speelland Beekse Bergen, this is well indicated and pre-purchased parking tickets are valid. Parking tickets can be purchased in advance online. The costs for parking are:

  • Parking ticket regular visitors: €9.50

  • Parking ticket for season ticket holders: €5

👩‍🦽 Wheelchair-accessible

Light Safari is accessible for everyone! The route is fully accessible for wheelchair and mobility scooter users, so they too can enjoy this unique experience! The catering squares are easily accessible and there are wheelchair-accessible restrooms.

Would you like to hire a mobility scooter or wheelchair? You can! A mobility scooter can be arranged here in advance through partner Scootpallet. Wheelchairs can be borrowed from the guest services in the Safari Park based on availability. Furthermore, assistance dogs are allowed. Just make sure to show ID and vaccination booklet at the guest service. In addition, Beekse Bergen features the very first Changing Place in the Netherlands! This is a care and toilet area for visitors with disabilities who need more space and facilities.
